What should I do if my vehicle’s MOT is due during the UK lockdown?
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency announced measures to extend MOTs that are due after 30 March 2020. The due date for the MOT has been extended by 6 months; drivers do not have to do anything to request the extension as it has been applied automatically. The changes have been put in place to make sure that essential vehicle maintenance is available for key workers. We will, however, continue to complete MOT tests for customers wishing to have these completed at the correct time.
